Letter From Our First Exhibitions
Our first exhibitions, born from the culture of knitting wood fibers by Namblong women, Kbo is an bag for hundreds of years that carries various items in the life of the Namblong tribe who live in the Grime Valley, Jayapura Regency. Held on December 14-15, 2024, this exhibition was visited by approximately 300 people with 50 products sold.

This exhibition was initiated by the Yombe Yawa Datum Cooperative and conceptualized by Ki.Basic together with the Tabo Ki and Isyo Ki woman knitters groups of Noken. In this exhibition we documented the materials, processes, and the use of Kbo for the Namblong tribe's community.
This event of exhibitions was also an actions to celebrates World Noken Day which falls every December 4 by appreciating the women knitted group of the Namblong tribe named "Isyo Ki and Tabo Ki" and introducing innovative products by Ki.Basic to the local audience in Jayapura, Papua.
